NLAI communicates with 45 countries
The international affairs and PR manger of National Library and Archives of IR of Iran (NLAI) said: "NLAI enjoys active interactions with 45 countries." IBNA: Hamed Yari the international affairs and PR manger of National Library and Archives of IR of Iran (NLAI) said: "NLAI is cooperating with Oceania in line with UNESCO's National Memory to register books and documents in the Universal Memory. Moreover in Asia we rule the ECO member countries libraries union."
He underlined:" During the past 3 years Iran is communicating with European countries' libraries. Moreover 2 Memorandum of Understanding will be inked this autumn with Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine as well as its Archives. The MoU will be sealed concurrent with the 3rd ECO member Libraries meeting in Ankara."
He added: "Library interactions and presenting Iranology and Islamology sources to Ukraine National Library and instructing Ukraine's librarians in the field of mending and indexing sources are among the MoU's context.
He went on to say that we send sources to some countries and preserve and exchange written sources with some other including Caucasus and India.
Moreover NLAI communicates with East Asian and European countries in order to transfer technology and knowledge and countries like Afghanistan, Tajikistan and European countries carry a supportive role in training forces and developing technology.
In other news the 3rd ECO member Libraries meeting will be held in Ankara in autumn.
Yari underlined: "NLAI is the most active library in the Middle East. The library is a member of IFLA, International Council of Archives as well as the Council of Asia-Pacific World Memory Program."
