National Library and Archives Organization of the Islamic Republic of Iran has arranged for the 4th Conference of Archives For All parallel with the day of national documents on May 8, 2012.

IBNA: Issues like manuscripts, documents (paper, hide, and fabric), audio-visual resources (including photos, movies, negatives, audio and video tapes) will be discussed in the conference which will be held jointly with top treasury reserves of the country.

Moreover, topics like the role of modern technology in preventive conservation, the role of preventive conservation on crisis management, and the role of expert human resources on preventive conservation.

Besides, in the documents repairing section of the conference, discussions will be held on novel methods and materials in repairing documents.

Articles by all manuscript researchers, repairers, students and experts can be submitted to the secretariat of the conference.

The submitted abstracts should be in word 2003 format and sent to a2a@nlai.ir by March 15, 2012. Besides, April 13 has been set as the deadline for submission of full papers.
