Tales about Mohammad (S) to be released
Kamran Sharafshahi has finished compiling two story collections on Prophet Mohammad and his revered daughter Fatima. IBNA: The collections cast a varied look at the lives of the prophet and his daughter in a way that is appealing to the younger generation of readers.
Sharafshahi maintains that considering the lives and personality traits of the infallibles (14 religious figures believed by Shias to be utterly impeccable) are expected to resolve numerous cultural and social issues in the modern world.
The stories are written in a simple, fluid language and include biographies of the prophet and his daughter.
As the writer says, the events gathered in the books are chosen from more down-to-earth happenings of their lives so that younger readers would more easily connect to their ethical contents. An account on the Ashura event has also been added to the books’ content. On Ashura, Moharram 10, Imam Hussein (3rd Shia Imam and the prophet’s grandson) and his household were slaughtered in the city of Karbala.
The books will be published and marketed by Tajali Mehr in Tehran.
