The 170th number of History & Geography Book of the Month, special issue of Islamic Historiography was released. The formation of Islamic historiography and its reinterpretation come to the focus of this issue.

IBNA: 'Iranian horizons in Muslims' historiography' is the main subject of this issue's editorial by Abbas Ghadimi in which he discusses the role of Iranians in the development of Islamic historiography. 

An interview with Dr Seyyed-Sadeq Sajjadi and Ali Bahrami academic members of Great Islamic Encyclopedia, titled 'From Yaqubi to Beihaqi: the typology of Islamic historiography' is also featured in the present book of the month.
