Bahman Dorri: Public libraries equipped with thousands of debut religious books
Deputy Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance for Cultural Affairs Bahman Dorri said that Iran's public libraries were equipped with 233 debut religious books in 80,000 copies. IBNA: According to the public relations department of Culture and Islamic Guidance Ministry, Dorri said that the measure was taken in order to reinforce religious publishers. The support was started regionally and in the first step Qom was considered. Then the work was followed with identifying the religious publishers nationwide and currently the religious publishers in Khorasan province are being evaluated.
He said that the work's main trait is guiding the people and added:" The plan's other aims are providing the needs of book and book reading related institutes, easing the access of newly released books for the society and developing the public and mosque libraries."
In order to fulfill the goals in the filed of culture he hoped that publishers of religious books would develop the quality of religious books via presenting a strong context.
