History of Iran's culture released
A book has recently been published on Iran's history of culture and civilization before Islam and after its emergence. IBNA: Written by Ali Akbar Abbasi, the book is arranged in five chapters and briefly accounts on the Iranian-Islamic history of culture and civilization.
The definitions of culture and civilization and their relationship are discussed in the first chapter of the book.
Entitled as Iran's Culture and Civilization before Islam, the second chapter deals with topics like the entrance of Ariayis into Iran and their impact on the country's culture and civilization. Persian architecture are explored in the chapter.
Sciences and skills in Iran and the world of Islam is the title of the third chapter of the book. Islam's stance towards studying and acquiring knowledge, defying social gaps and establishment of libraries in Iran after Islam are some of the discussions in the chapter.
The 4th chapter is about Iranian-Islamic architecture and arts and considers the building on mosques, tombs, schools, castles and bridges in Iran during different eras.
In its 5th chapter, the book reflects on the impact of the Islamic civilization on the modern western civilization besides considering the views of Muslim philosophers on those of the westerners and Europeans.
