Cultural deputy of Tehran Municipality's cultural and social affairs deputy office said that a book fair will be held on the occasion of Imam Khomeini death anniversary in his shrine. He said that some books will be presented freely while the other works will be displayed with a discount.

IBNA: Abdullah Ramazani said:" On the occasion of the 23rd death anniversary of Imam Khomeini (PBUH), Tehran's municipality has planned programs for the shrine's pilgrimages and a part of it is allocated to books."

Most of the books are themed on the Islamic Revolution, Sacred Defense and Imam Khomeini's works.

He added:" Presenting the sublime instructions and thoughts of Imam Khomeini through books is an aim because of which the works are either offered freely or with a discount."

Moreover a contest will be held entitled "Read Quran and win an award" and the prizes will be books themed on the Islamic Revolution and hagiography.

The book fair will run from Saturday, June 2, evening and will conclude the next day.
