Leader stresses precision of Sacred Defense historiography

The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Khamenei made a visit from an exhibition of army’s achievements yesterday (April 22, 2012). In the visit, he browsed a number of the army’s publications.
IBNA: Browsing the History of the Sacred Defense collection, the leader said, “It is a good work; it is rather a document for future generations. It should be presented with precision.”
In an interview with IBNA, Colonel Mojtaba Jafari, head of the Veterans’ Affairs Organization of the army’s ground forces, stated that the leader made a visit from the exhibition yesterday and read several pages of the 103-volume History of the Sacred Defense collection.
“He took the second volume of the series which is titled as Roar of Canons and stated that it was a good work. It should be continued with more precision,” added Jafari.
He went on to say that the leader also viewed the Words of Survival collection which encompasses the lives of a number of prominent ground force martyrs are called for by the leader.
The leader also met with a number of army commanders and delivered a speech for them.
