The 1st National research conference of "The capital's gem; Golestan Palace" will be held in autumn. On the sidelines an exhibition will be held displaying the palace's manuscripts alongside the researcher's works.

IBNA: The conference will be held by the Iranian Cultural Heritage, Tourism & Handicrafts Organization and the cooperation of the University of Arts in autumn.

The conference will be themed on the significance of Golestan museum palace in Iranian arts, architecture, introducing and evaluating museum goods, the history of museums, Golestan palace's museums, visitors and Iranian garden. Every participant can submit three articles.

The manager of Golestan palace's manager Masoud Sharifi said:" The submitted articles will be categorized in two sections and all the works will be released as a book."

The submitted articles will gradually be published in different newspapers and on the sidelines an exhibition of the conference's book and news pieces will be held. Moreover the exhibition will display manuscripts and books which exist in the palace as well as the theses and studies which are themed on the palace.
