Isfahani kids to read 100 citizenship books
According to the sales manager of the Cultural-Artistic Organization of the Municipality of Isfahan, about a hundred pedagogic titles on the subject of citizenship will be published for children young readers. IBNA: Mohammadreza Fathi said: "So far many pamphlets and booklets citizenship musts and mustn'ts have been distributed on among school children, but the present books have a new pedagogical approach to the subject."
He added: "The books discuss the laws of living in apartments, how to maintain green spaces and public transportation vehicles."
Fathi went on to mention that by far 50 volumes of the series are released and welcomed by schools of the province; the students have made a good connection with the content and illustrations of the books, he added.
He then mentioned the organization's cooperation with the Center for Reviving Islamic Premises on publication of short stories or short messages based on the sayings of Imams and tradition in proportion with today needs of the youth. "The Window", "The Lantern", and "Celestial Sayings" are three series of this project that are released already. "The Window", for instance, includes 13 volumes concerned with various subjects like justice, youth, charity, love of the clan of the Holy Prophet, Imam Hussein, and Awaiting.
According to Fathi, the 'Lantern' series also includes short phrases or messages with religious themes 19 volumes of which have been released. While the "Celestial Sayings" contains sermon number 21 of Nahj-ol-balagha, phrases from Ghorar-al-Hekam, and words from the holy tradition, Mahdavism, an awaiting that are written in simple language. 9 volumes of the series are released in pocket sizes.
