The programs of the two-day Religious Science Conference are announced. Reza Davari Ardakani and Gholamhussein Ebrahimi Dinani will lecture at the conference.

IBNA: According to the public relations office of Andisheh Javan Institute, Ali Motevali Emami, cultural and relations deputy of the institute announced the programs of the conference.

The conference will begin today (Monday, May 28, 2012) at 1.30 p.m. with a lecture by Reza Davari Ardakani and another by Gholamhussein Ebrahimi Dinani on Muslims’ encounter with Greek knowledge.

Later on, Yousef Abazari will deliver a speech on the sociology of exposure to science in Iran. The Ratio of Science and Civilization is the title of a session arranged during the conference which will be led by a lecture by Hujatoleslam Davoud Firahi and Hujatoleslam Hamid Parsania. The session will begin at 3 p.m.

On the second day of the conference, Bijan Abdolkarimi and Hussein Kachoyan will deliver speeches on the relations between theology and the humanities.

Also, Hujatoleslam Mehdi Mirbagheri and Aliakbar Reshad will discuss issues about reason and faith.

Religious, social sciences is the theme of another speech by Saeid Zibakalam at 6 p.m. tomorrow.

The unity of sciences, a comparative analysis of modern sciences and religious science are the themes of a lecture by Seyyed Hussein Nasr which will be delivered in a video conference.
