Mohammadreza Zaeri: Presence of enthusiastic visitors a blessed happening
Mohammadreza Zaeri regarded the enthusiastic presence of so many visitors at the book fair as a blessed happening and added that the endeavors are noteworthy, but the heavy load of visits requires more development. IBNA: Visiting the pavilions of 'Youth Thought Association' and 'Ketabe Neyestan', Mohammadreza Zaeri said he is visiting the book fair after five years.
"I have many good memories from the book fair when it was held in the previous location of international exhibitions, but now I am visiting it after five years and more than anything else the enthusiast of the visitors is interesting and promising for me," he said.
Zarei added that the book fair can be improved in terms of informing visitors as visitors from other provinces are usually baffled and cannot easily find what they seek there. The endeavors are noteworthy, but the heavy load of visits requires more developed administrative programs. He added: "We have many good books in the book fair. Fortunately there are many outstanding and useful titles and I have often observed visitors who know the publishers and distributors well. Their tastes also show that the publications are fine."
And finally referring to the interactions between the ministry and publishers this year he remarked: "There are some disagreements that could be solved without direct oppositions, as there is no fundamental problem and good programming and tolerance can lead to a correct solution."
