The Nature of Neocolonialism in a book

29 Jul 2012 14:54
"The Nature of Neocolonialism" is a critical book that makes a survey of new imperialist methods to expand domination over the world.
IBNA: The Western Imperialism tends to redefine its domination over the world by applying new methods and by making use of the situation of weak nation-states.

The author in this book makes a study of the new western imperialism as a way of extending the historical colonialism theoretically and historically.

Mohammad-Rahim Eivazi's sources for the compilation of the book are library-based and his approach is descriptive-analytic and sometimes comparative.

The book is organized in four chapters: the first chapter offers generalities and main concepts. And besides definition of key terms, the meaning of power is also discussed.

The second and third chapters respectively survey the history and theories of imperialism, and the last chapter offers a religious view of this phenomenon.

The first print of "The Nature of Neocolonialism" is published in 2500 copies and 310 pages by Islamic Culture and Thought Research Center.
