Iran Book News Agency (IBNA) - Candle & Fog Publication to attend LBF

Manager of Candle & Fog Publication Institute said that the center will be present at the London Book Fair(LBF) displaying 8 Persian book titles.

IBNA: Afshin Shehne-tabar said:" Unlike Frankfurt International Book Fair, which introduces books in other languages, London Book Fair mostly concentrates on English books."

This year some 24,000 publishers are attending the book fair while Candle & Fog Publication Institute is the only private Iranian publisher which will be present at the fair; slated for 16th - 18th April.

The books are only introduced at the book fair and some of them may be donated to the visitors at the last day, he added.
Candle & Fog Publication Institute, a company enjoying Iranian-English Nationality enjoys a decade of activity records in the fields of printing and publication of scientific-literary books and also exchange of literary works and translation of noble Iranian stories and novels into modern languages of the world and exchange, purchase and sales of copyright in literary fields and implementation of all publication affairs.

The center has participated in prestigious global book fairs, especially Frankfurt, London, and Bologna of Italy.

Shehne-tabar added:" Most of the books will belong to contemporary Iran. The English rendition of "Kimya Khatun" will be unveiled during the fair as well."

Moreover other Iranian books including "Open your lips" by Shohreh Vakili will be presented, he said and added:" Persian-Italian law dictionary will be displayed as well."
