Real Analysis localized for Iranian educational system

Laureate of the 19th Superior Academic Book said: "One of the main characteristics of the book 'Real Analysis' is the localization of Mathematical Analysis subjects based on Iranian educational system."
IBNA: Dr Rouhollah Jahanipur added: "Real analysis is an academic coursebook compiled according with MA Mathematics syllabus… Since there were only two old coursebooks available for the major mathematics in MA level, it was necessary to compile a new book in this field."
Emphasizing that the present book is based on the syllabus approved by the Ministry of Sciences, he reminded: "This book is a localized text with an easy and fluent writing style for the students. Special local concerns are considered in this book as every coursebook should be compiled based on the educational system of the target country and therefore translated books could never be fully adapted with the syllabi of other countries."
He added that the subjects of this volume are comprehensive enough to be taught by all mathematics professors.
According to him, Mathematical Analysis is a subcategory of mathematics. Real analysis or theory of functions of a real variable is a branch of mathematical analysis dealing with the set of real numbers. In particular, it deals with the analytic properties of real functions and sequences, including convergence and limits of sequences of real numbers, the calculus of the real numbers, and continuity, smoothness and related properties of real-valued functions.
He continued: "Among other characteristics of this book is posing questions, problems to solve and various exercises at the end of each chapter. The subjects are taken from valid sources used in developed countries and PhD exams."
The book "Real Analysis" coauthored by Dr Rouhollah Jahanipur and Bijan Zohuri Zanganeh is published by Sharif University of Technology and has been winner of the 19th Tehran University's Superior Academic Book Award.
