The main idea of "Managing Innovation", which has been released recently, is integrating innovation in achieving competitive advantage and developing innovation. One of the book's translators Alireza Jabari says that the people require new things and old products aren’t welcomed.
IBNA: In a conversation with IBNA, Jabari said that why he selected the book for translation explaining that books of academic publications are chosen according to the recommendations of the university's departments and the counselors considering the gaps which exist in text books and academic sources.
He added:" "Managing Innovation: Integrating Technological, Market, and Organizational Change" was chosen by Sharif University. The book is mainly meant for M.A students while the students of lower levels can use it as well. Moreover it is handy in Production management and industrial management."
Talking about the book's authors he said:" Joe Tidd is a physicist with subsequent degrees in technology policy and business administration. He is Professor of technology and innovation management. John Bessant is Professor of Innovation Management at the School of Management, Cranfield University."
Talking about the book he added:" The book considers innovation and competitive advantage."
Authored by Joe Tidd, John Bessant and Keith Pavitt, "Managing Innovation: Integrating Technological, Market, and Organizational Change" has been rendered into Persian by Alireza Jabari and Abbas Kahalzadeh. It was released in 693 pages.
