Iran Book News Agency (IBNA) - 10th Print Festival programs announced

IBNA: Arrangement of the second Conference of Active Women in the Print Industry, the fifth Print Industry Workers' Grand Celebration and the 10th Best Print Work Competition are some of the programs of the festival, reported the permanent secretariat of the festival.

Besides, celebrating the National day of print industry and holding the third athletic carnival are other programs of the event.

Moreover, arranging the first edition of Moshaf Sharif print contest, praising print industry veterans, managers, experts and entrepreneurs, and holding specialized meetings about print are other programs which are slated to be held parallel with the festival.

This year, the festival's arrangements are not confined to a week in which the event is arranged to be held and will be protracted to months after the event.

What is more, for the first time a contest in the international section of the festival will be held which is themed at the holy Quran. The contest is aimed at encouraging publishers to published high quality copied of the book.

The Grand Celebration of Print industry workers will be held parallel with the Fitr. Women's conference is slated to be held during September and the contests are to be held during October 2010.

The National Day of Print Industry will be held on September 5, 2010 at Tehran's Vahdat Hall.
