IBNA- Department of Persian at University of Delhi is holding Webinar on “Short story and Novel writing in Iran during 1940-79” today and tomorrow.
The two-day conference which is presented both in Persian and English features 25 papers by Iranian, Indian, Tajik and Bangladeshi experts. The secretary of the event is Professor Rajinder Kumar, Head of Department of Persian at University of Delhi.
Indian Professors Chander Shekhar and Aleem Ashraf Khan and Iranian scholar Hassan Mir-Abedini will deliver lecture on short story and novel writing in Iran during 1940-79.
In this conference, works by Jalal Al-e Ahmad, Mehdi Akhavan Sales, Mahshid Amirshahi, Bahram Beizaei, Goli Taraghi, Simin Daneshvar, Bozorg Alavi, Ebrahim Golestan, Turan Mir-Hadi and Sadegh Hedayat are considered.
Furthermore, topics such as religious stories of children and young adults, fantasies, novel writing trends and so on are being put in discussion.
