IBNA- The book, 'Women in the Lives of 20th Century Dictators' by French author Diane Ducret has been translated into Persian and published.
According to IBNA correspondent, the book with the original title 'Las mujeres de los dictadores' tries to describe the role played by these women in the life and political career of the 20th century dictators whether they were Wives, Lovers, or Muses.
The book has been translated into Persian by Mohammad-Ali Asgari under the title 'Dictators' Women' and has been released by Paidayesh Publishing. ‘Women in the Lives of 20th Century Dictators' was originally published in two volumes but the Persian version is in a single volume.
Among the dictators whose women have been detailed in the book are Lenin, Stalin, Hitler and Mussolini, Mao Zedong, Osama bin Laden and Saddam Hussein.
Through a feminine view the book tries to delve into the untold stories of these women and their relations with the totalitarian figures, the women who were somehow influential in the genesis of the dictators or released them from political isolation.
‘Women in the Lives of 20th Century Dictators' in Persian has been published in 549 pages.
