IBNA- Iranian publisher Soureh Mehr will hold its first exhibition of books translated to foreign languages in Tehran on Monday.
According to IBNA correspondent, the opening ceremony of the exhibition which is titled "Translation Movement" will be attended by several cultural officials, writers and translators in Art Center of Islamic Propagation Organization at 4 p.m.
The move was initiated after the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Ali Khamenei stressed on the necessity for the translation of Iranian books into other languages.
Soureh Mehr has so far translated over 100 Iranian books to foreign languages such as 'Da', 'Farangis', 'Chess with Doomsday Machine' and so on, into English, Arabic, Russian, Urdu Turkish and other languages.
The exhibition, "Translation Movement" kicks off on January 20 and will run by January 24.
