IBNA- Iranian poetess Sahar Ajdamsani was selected the best at the 8th Athens ‎International Poetry Festival and the 8th International Video Poetry Festival.‎
Iranian poetess tops International Athens Poetry Festival
According to IBNA correspondent, as the first and sole Iranian representative at the 8th Athens International Poetry Festival, Sahar Ajdamsani made her way to the final and won the award of the poetry event.
Invited by the literary festival, Ajdamsani recited her two poems 'Dreamy World' and 'The Pain' in Ambrose Amphitheater, made a speech about them. Following the program, the video musics based on her poems were shown.
The 8th International Video Poetry Festival is held in cooperation of the Institute [for Experimental Arts], Void Network and Moving Poems.
The event ran for two days in two different zones. The first day was the Video Poetry Show Room, a unique zone that included video poems, visual poems, short film poems and cinematic poetry by artists from all over the world (America, Asia, Europe, Africa).
The second day was the Live Improvisation Zone with multimedia poetry readings, concerts with experimental music, and performances.
