‎‘Dear Son: You are Fired’ reaches Iranian children
According to IBNA correspondent, the book with the original Spanish title ‘Querido hijo: estás despedido’ is centered on the story of a scruffy boy has been translated into Persian by Mina Karimian and published by children and young adults department of Cheshmeh Publishing.   
 
In ‘Dear Son: You are Fired’, a mother gives her son a redundancy letter. She is fed up with him and he has a month to find a new home. The boy laughs at all this, believing it is a joke, but a month later he finds himself in the street, with a suitcase and totally puzzled. He will then discover a completely different world.’
 
Born on 26 July 1947 in Barcelona, Jordi Sierra i Fabra is a Spanish author. His works for children's literature which are about 400 have been published in Spain and Latin America and translated into many languages of the world.
 
He has also studied pop music since the late 1960s. He has founded and/or managed several journals, includingEl Gran Musical, Disco Exprés, Popular 1 Top Magazine.
 
Among his most published works are: 'Strawberry Fields', 'Kafka and the Travelling Doll', 'The Murder of the Maths Teacher', 'Friday Night', 'The Skin of Memory'.
 
‘Dear Son: You are Fired’ in Persian has been published in 101 illustrated pages and 1000 copies.
