IBNA- A new poetry collection by the prominent Iranian modernist poet Ahmad-Reza Ahmadi titled 'At the End of the Grey Night' will be released in near future.
According to IBNA correspondent, the book will be released by Cheshmeh Publishing in Tehran which has already published 16 books by Ahmad-Reza Ahmadi- an influential figure of Iranian new wave poetry- the last of them is 'Summer and Sorrow' which became available last year.
Born in 1940 in the city of Kerman, Ahmadi's first book of poetry, Tarh (Sketch), was published in 1962. His poetry has its roots in French Surrealism and the American Imagists specially in poets like Saint John Perse, Paul Eluard, Louis Aragon and Ezra Pound.
Ahmadi was the selected poet of 2006 in the Fifth Persian Award of Bijan Jalali, and he was nominated for the Hans Christian Andersen Prize in 2009.
'At the End of the Grey Night' will be released in 262 pages.
