IBNA- Over 445 foreign and domestic companies will participate at the 25th Iran’s International Printing Packaging and the Related Machinery Exhibition scheduled for December 13 to 16 in Tehran International Permanent Fairground.
According to IBNA correspondent, this year’s exhibition is aimed to back the domestic companies, said Chairman of Tehran’s Print House Owners Union Iraj Ostad Ali-Naghi with the new situation of economic sanctions against Iran.
“Regarding the fact that a new wave of economic sanctions which have been imposed on our country, the international section of Iran’s Printing, Packaging and the Related Machinery is faced with a new decline in the number of the participants,” He said.
“Fortunately, the local companies could make up for the absence of several foreign companies, however, they are not able to make up for financial damages,” Ostad Ali-Naghi added.
Chairman of Tehran’s Print House Owners Union pointed out: “Although our foreign trade has declined we have improved the providing information and the capacity of producers as well as other activists of print and packaging to make this year’s event helpful.”
As one of the biggest events in the "Middle East and the most important event of its kind in Iran, Iran Pack Print exhibition works to establish and maintain relations between Iran and international pack and print industry.
