IBNA- Board of trustees of Iran’s Book House Institute (IBHI) officially appointed Niknam Hosseinipour as the new CEO of the institute.
According to IBNA correspondent, later than the members of the board of trustees voted for Hosseinipour, Cultural Deputy of Iran’s Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Mohsen Javadi as the head of the board issued a decree to finalize the assignment.
Earlier, Hosseinipour was an advisor of developing human resources in the Culture Ministry. He replaced Majid Gholami Jaliseh who resigned in February.
Founded in 1993, Iran’s Book House Institute (Khaneh Ketab in Persian), aims at providing information services on the books published in Iran. it’s website, www.ketab.org.ir, was also established later in 1998 in order to make information on the books accessible to users.
In addition to the books and publishers databases, various cultural services are offered such as publishing book review journals, holding important cultural event above them Iran's Book of the Year Award.
