IBNA- At the closing ceremony of the first permanent festival of Iran digital content production, Culture Minister Ali Jannati referred to the importance of digital contents saying that future belongs to digital content producers.
According to IBNA correspondent, the closing ceremony of the first permanent festival of Iran digital content production was held on Monday, September 6, 2016, in the Conference Hall of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance.
The meeting was attended by the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, Seyyed Morteza Mousavian, head of IT and digital media of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, Dr. Rousta Azad of Sharif University of Technology, and Karami, head of the Elite National Foundation.
Referring to the importance of digital content production in the current cultural climate, Jannati said: “Future belongs to the countries that produce digital contents, especially in various fields and the cultural areas, in particular.”
“Paying attention to this important point, that is the cultural infrastructure for the development of the digital content, is one of the most basic strategies to which special funding should be allocated,” he stated.
Jannati further added: “In fact, investment in cultural and creative industries on the one hand, and providing the cultural ground on the other, is considered the infrastructure for the development of the country.”
