IBNA- CEO of Iran’s Book House Institute Majid Gholami Jaliseh said that this institute is prepared to cooperate with the publishers in creating a standard definition for activities on publishing academic books.
According to IBNA correspondent, members of the cultural association of the academic book publishers of Iran including Mohammad Taqi Erfanpour, Mojtaba Taleqani and Mahdi Sadeqi held a meeting at the Book House Institute with Gholami Jaliseh on Tuesday, August 9.
During The meeting the state of academic publishing, scientific production output of the country, specialized trade fairs of academic books, material and moral support for the publishers academic books publishers and use of facilities and capacities of the Book House Institute was discussed.
In this event, Gholami Jaliseh pointed to the academic publishing record in the country and said: “Since the establishment of Dar ul-Fonoun school in Iran, and the publishing activities of the center, we have had academic publishing in this country. In this respect, this is not a newly founded activity in Iran and this history demonstrates the importance of the publication section of the country.”
He also added: “We can provide information on issues such as registration of publishers for the book fairs, using the capacities of the House of Literati (Sara-ye Ahl-e Qalam) and are at the service of our friends at the Academic Publishers Association.”
