IBNA- Secretary of the Grant Plan of Iran's Culture Ministry which is aimed to promote the translation and publication of the Iranian books into other languages said 400 literary works are annually backed by the plan.
According to IBNA correspondent, Ali Fereidouni, secretary of the Grant Plan of Iran's Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance said that those Iranian books which are in demand by foreign publishers are supported by the Grant Plan. The books for children and young adults will receive up to €1000 on the books for adults may be given up to €3000.
He also referred to Firouzeh prize which has been established by the deputy of Culture Ministry to boost the production of cultural works with Iranian Islamic identity.
“This year we will hold the fifth edition of the prize and will give financial awards to 20 best activists in the field of producing various cultural items,” Fereidouni added.
