IBNA- Director of the Grant Plan of Iran’s Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance announced that 50 books supported by this plan will be displayed in the 71st Frankfurt Book Fair.
Speaking to IBNA correspondent, Ali Fereidouni director of the Grant Plan which has been launched by the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance to back the translation and publication of Persian books into other languages said that among these 50 books two books titled ‘Commander Bibi Maryam Bakhtiari’ and ‘The Revised Version of Divan of Hafez’ by Baha al-Din Khorramshahi which have been translated into English will be unveiled in Frankfurt.
Referring to other programs of the secretariat of the Grant Plan the 71st Frankfurt International Book Fair, Fereidouni said: "The Grant Plan brochure will be presented in eight languages, including Italian, German, Russian, Chinese, French, Turkish, Arabic and Urdu, and will be offered in the Iranian stand in the fair. Iran will be supplied. In addition, an advertising teaser will further introduce the plan.
He added that meetings with officials of several countries, including Turkey, Germany, Serbia and China have been scheduled to introduce the Grant Plan and we are consulting with some other countries on the issue.
Frankfurt International Book Fair 2019 is scheduled for October 16 to 20.
