IBNA- Islamic World Science Citation Center (ISC) has officially registered the International Conference of Shams and Mowlana in Iran.
Speaking to IBNA, Fattah Kabiri Managing Director of Mowlana National Festival and International Conference of Shams and Molana in Iran said that cooperation of Iran's Research Center of Humanities and Cultural Studies with us in holding the Mowlana event led Islamic World Science Citation Center (ISC) to register International Conference of Shams and Molana in the list of the conferences ISC officially approves.
“It's been 3 years that International Conference of Shams and Mowlana is being held successfully in cooperation with Research Center of Humanities and Cultural Studies as well as Iran’s Ministry of Science, Research and technology,” he said.
“At the moment, all Islamic countries in five different regions including Southeast Asia, Arabic countries, Non-Arabic Islamic countries in Africa, countries in the Middle Asia region, Caucasia and Islamic countries in the Middle East, Europe and South America have access to the services provided by Islamic World Science Citation Center,” Kabiri added.
Shams (Shmas-e Tabrizi) was the spiritual instructor of Mowlana Jalal al-Din Mohammad Balkhi, known as Rumi and is referenced with great reverence in Mowlana's poetic collection.
The establishment of Islamic World Science Citation Center (ISC) has been approved by the Islamic Conference of the Ministers of Higher Education and Scientific Research (ICMHESR) in a meeting held by ISESCO in 2008 in Baku, capital of Azerbaijan. Since then, Islamic universities and research institutes are required to cooperate with ISC.
International Conference of Shams and Mowlana is scheduled for September 29 and 30.
