IBNA- 50 books which have been published under the Grant Plan of Iran’s Culture Ministry will be displayed at the 32nd Tehran international book fair.
Speaking to IBNA correspondent, Ali Fereidouni, Director of cultural associations and activities of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance referred to the achievements of the Grant Plan, which is aimed to support the translation and publication of Persian books into other languages
“We will introduce our activities during the 32nd Tehran International Book Fair, we will have our stand with an area of 15 square meters in the World Book Market of the fair where we will showcase our books,” he said.
“These books are on various subjects such as Persian classic literature, contemporary literature, children and young adults works, Islamic studies and Iranology. We will consider books proposed by domestic and foreign publishers and have the potential to be released in the international market,” Fereidouni stated.
He stressed that consultation with Chinese publishers is a priority for the Secretariat of the Grant Plan: “Because China is the guest of honor of the 32nd Tehran International Book Fair, a good opportunity has been provided for us to have the best interaction with Chinese publishers.
