In an interview with IBNA, Reza Rahmani, deputy director of Barsaz Rouydad Pars which is the executive company of the 2nd Iran’s Printing and Packaging Industry Exhibition (IPAP) said: “Despite unfair sanctions which have been imposed on Iran this year, companies from Germany, India, Turkey, Russia and Pakistan will participate in the event.”
“Also, visitors from Germany, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Algeria, Georgia, India, Russia, Pakistan, Iraq, Libya and Bangladesh have registered to attend the 2nd IPAP,” he said.
Rahmani added: “I would say it’s a unique opportunity for Iranian producers to boost non-oil exports.”
The 2nd IPAP targets all suppliers along the entire value chain for printing technologies - from prepress/print, premedia/multichannel, postpress, converting and packaging, materials, flexible packaging, paper and cardboard production, equipment, services and infrastructure.
This event will be held as a follow-up to the successful experience of the 1st edition of IPAP.
Shahr-e-Aftab (Exhibition International) is Iran’s latest and biggest exhibition center. Conveniently located between Tehran City and the international airport with access to several highways and public transportation connections, it offers 1.3 million square feet of exhibit space in 16 halls.
