IBNA- Deputy of Culture and Press َََAdministration of Khorasan Razavi Province said that the international section of 2017 Khorasan Razavi Book Fair will be improved.
Speaking to IBNA, Yusef Amini said that all cultural programs of this province will be held with the aim of looking at Mashhad as the Capital of Islamic Culture in 2017.
“The Organization of the Islamic Conference presents a city as the Capital of Islamic Culture each year. In 2006, Isfahan province won this title, and for the year 2017, the title has been given to Khorasan Razavi province,” he said.
“All cultural, economic, social and political activities of Khorasan Razavi province were carried out with a view to its recognition as the capital of Islamic Culture. No doubt, the eighteenth Provincial Book Fair of Khorasan Razavi is also affected by this approach. Therefore, the Office of Culture and Islamic Guidance of the province tries to hold this edition of the exhibition more pronounced than the previous years,” Amini stated.
The Deputy of Culture and Islamic Guidance Administration of Khorasan Razavi province added that in this year’s Book Fair more space is devoted to international publishers, and by far, the number of international publishers will be greater than the previous years.
Amini also explained: “The Culture and Islamic Guidance Administration of Khorasan Razavi province also proposed to hold a meeting of Islamic World Publishers 2017 in this year’s Book Fair which eyes for the support of the provincial publishers and the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance.”
