IBNA- Chairman of Iran’s Union of Exporters Board of Printing and Packaging Industry announced that for the first time, Iran will attend 2016 PACK EXPO International in Chicago.
In an interview with IBNA, Babak Abedini said: “PACK EXPO International is held biennially and the Union of Exporters Board of Printing and Packaging Industry plans to attend this expo in Chicago for the first time in the form of union members.”
“We’ll attend this expo with the aim of introducing Iranian capabilities in the areas of printing and packaging and creating opportunities for exports,” he said.
He explained the reasons behind Iran’s attendance in this exhibition as such: “Since the final price of some printed products in North and South America are expensive, they are very interested in entering the markets of some East Asian countries like China, Pakistan, Bangladesh as well as some West Asian countries like Turkey.”
“So, as the conditions for exporting Iranian printed products is considered favorable by Iran’s Union of Exporters Board of Printing and Packaging Industry, they try to attend the expo to introduce our country’s capabilities in the fields of Printing and Packaging,” Abedini added.
