IBNA- Visiting the 24th International Quran Exhibition, Khalid Eren, Director General of IRCICA said that he is glad to see translations of Quran printed by this research center displayed in this exhibition.”
In an interview with the IBNA correspondent, Professor Khalid Eren, Director General of the Research Center for the Islamic History, Art and Culture (IRCICA) who was visiting the 24th International Quran Exhibition, said: “I visited Tehran International Book Fair (TIBF) a few years ago and found many good books there. I’m glad to attend the International Quran Exhibition in Tehran for the first time.”
Expressing his pleasure for displaying translations of Quran printed by IRCICA in this exhibition, he said that the earliest handwritten Qurans and manuscripts have been used for doing these translations.
He continued that the exhibition space is arranged beautifully and a lot of effort has been put into collecting these works by using the Iranian-Islamic culture. He also added: “It is a pleasure to see the translations of the Quran printed by ‘IRCICA’ displayed in this place for which the earliest handwritten Qurans and manuscripts were used.”
Khalid Eren said that a calligraphy competition is held by IRCICA every three years and in the present Quran Exhibition 21 selected items of the tenth edition of these competitions were praised in the presence of the authorities of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance.
