IBNA- The autumn term of a Persian language course in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan kicked off by Iran’s Cultural Attaché to that country.
Concurrent with the closing ceremony of Iran’s Handicrafts and Tourism Exhibition in Ashgabat, the opening ceremony of the autumn term of Persian language course was opened by Iran’s Cultural Attaché office in Turkmenistan, public relations office of Sa'di Foundation in Tehran reported.
The ceremony was attended by Iran Ambassador to Turkmenistan Abbas Arbab Khales who made a speech and stressed on the role of Persian language in the development of human culture in the course of history and added that currently Persian language with its rich sources and poems of great poets such as Hafez, Sa’di and Ferdowsi are still inspiring the prominent thinkers of the world.
Iran's Cultural Attaché to Ashgabat Reza Khanian also congratulated the new Persian language students and added he and his coworkers are trying to hold various cultural activities in cooperation with Turkmenistan government in a bid to boost cultural ties between the two neighboring countries of Iran and Turkmenistan which have a common historical heritage.
Three Turkmen graduates of Persian language also described their experiences for the new students at the ceremony which featured the number of video clips on the tourist attractions of Iran as well.
