IBNA- The closing ceremony of the 16th course of Iranology and Persian language was held in the Hall of Iran's Cultural Attaché to Ethiopia and the graduates were praised.
According to IBNA correspondent, quoting from the public relations department of Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), in the ceremony, Salman Rostami, Iran's cultural attaché to Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia recited several poems of eminent Iranian poets and explained them in English.
"You have become familiar with the language and culture of a nation which enjoys a brilliant historicall background. Iran has presented great scientists in various fields to the world society, those who have brought about unique achievements,” he said.
Following the session some students of Persian language read sentences and poems in Persian for the attendants and then began to converse in Persian with each other.
At the end of the ceremony the students were given certificates of completing the course.
