IBNA- Seoul International Book Fair 2019 wrapped up on June 23 as Iran's Cultural Fairs Institute (ICFI) represented the publishing industry of our country in the event.
According to IBNA correspondent, quoting from the public relations office of Iran's Cultural Fairs Institute, at 2019 Seoul International Book Fair (SIBF) which opened on June 19, ICFI participated for the second consecutive year in a stand of 18 square meters displaying books on a variety of subjects such as Iranian studies, children and young adults, art and contemporary Iranian literature.
ICFI participated at the international conferences in the fair and the experts of the institute delivered lecture on Iranian publishing industry. They also Introduced “the Grant Plan” aimed to promote the translation of Persian books into other languages among other programs of Iran in this event.
During the fair the representatives of Iranian and South Korean Publishers discussed to take steps in translating the works by the authors of both countries through the literary agencies and publish them.
