IBNA- The Program “Night of Tajikistan” which will unveil the book ‘Ulugzada and National Culture’ is a scheduled to be held at ECO Cultural Institute in Tehran on Sunday, March 3.
According to IBNA correspondent, quoting from the public relations office of Niavaran Culture House, the program which is held in cooperation between the Niavaran Artistic Creations Foundation and ECO Cultural Institute will be attended by a number of Tajik and Iranian experts.
‘Ulugzada and National Culture’ written by Tajik scholar Sirodjaddin Emam-Ali is about the eminent Tajik man of letters Satim Ulugzada who has remarkably contributed to the contemporary literature of his country.
The book has been translated by Tajik expert Shah-Mansour Shah Mirza into Persian and edited by Iranian Zahra Aslani. The Iranian and Tajik literati are supposed to make speeches about the life and work of Ulugzada and a music concert will be performed.
Ulugzada wrote a biographical novel ‘Firdavsi’ in 1986 about the legendary Iranian poet Abul-Qasem Ferdowsi, whose ‘Shahnameh’ is regarded an epic masterpiece of Persian poetry. ‘Firdavsi’ was granted Iran’s Book of the Year Award in 1999.
“Night of Tajikistan” will be held at ECO Cultural Institute in Tehran on Sunday at 4 p.m.
