IBNA- Four Iranian nominees of for the 2019 Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award will be honored in separate ceremonies at Iran’s Center for Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults (ICDCYA).
According to IBNA correspondent quoting from the public and international relations office of Iran’s Center for Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults, the ceremony has been scheduled for February 24 to 27 when Jamshid Khanian, Ali-Asghar Seyyedabadi, Farhad Hassanzadeh and Houshang Moradi Kermani will be honored. The ceremonies will also feature speeches of to be made to by Iranian scholars and experts.
The Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award (Litteraturpriset till Astrid Lindgrens mine in Swedish) is an international children’s literary award which worth five million Swedish Krona, making it the richest award in children's literature and the one of the richest literary prizes in the world. The Swedish award meant for promoting children’s and young adults literature all across the world.
