In an interview with IBNA, Jaliseh said: “Removing some executive duties, enables the Book House Institute to fully introduces itself at the 29th Tehran International Book Fair as an umbrella institute in the field of books and publication industry.”
CEO of Iran’s Book House Institute stated: “The Removal of contract works and some executive tasks which was offered by Deputy Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Seyyed Abbas Salehi (PhD) provides a good opportunity for this institute in this edition of Tehran Book Fair.”
This was also what we looked for as it gives the Book House Institute a chance to be present in Tehran International Book Fair as an umbrella institute involved in facilitating and monitoring the activities of print industry,” he added.
He believes the contract works and some executive duties prevented the Book House Institute from presenting its main tendencies, status and function of the institute: “In the past editions of Tehran Book Fair, the Book House Institute didn’t find the chance to properly introduce itself. It had to restrict itself due to some unrelated matters, and this was the Book House position each year.”
Elsewhere in his remarks, Jaliseh referred to the stand established for the Book House Institute to introduce its main activities such as providing information and technology, a unique databank on books, establishing the website www.ketab.ir, publishing special quarterly journals on book criticism and so on. IBNA will also have a special stand at the 29th Tehran International Book Fair.
