‘Palestinians’ Self-Determination Right’ is the title of a new book by Mehdi Mousavi and Fazlollah Mousavi which has recently been published in Iran.
IBNA: Arranged in five chapters, the scholarly book argues that the right to determine one’s future and destiny is the key to gaining national identity for any given nation in the world.
The book’s chapters discuss legal topics about the right of self-determination and argue about issues like the right to determine a nation’s destiny in international law, formation and developments of the right, Palestine and its historical developments, Palestine and the right to decide on its destiny, the relevant negotiations and treaties in the 90s.
Furthermore, topics like the definition of a nation and self-determination are also discussed in the book.
The UN Charter, the Helsinki Accords about the right of self-determination, the Western Desert, the Aljazeera Statement, International Conventions regarding human rights, and the activities of the UN General Assembly are focused upon throughout the book.
