"Heidegger and Social Sciences" to be discussed in Tehran

IBNA- The meeting, "Heidegger and Social Sciences" which also feature the unveiling ceremony of a Persian book on the influential German philosopher will be held in Tehran on Tuesday.
According to IBNA correspondent, the social sciences department of Tehran University will hold the fourth program from the series of philosophy and social sciences in which the book 'Transcendental Eternity, the Research on the Fundamental Ontology of Heidegger' by the Iranian author Ahmad Rajabi will also be unveiled.
This series of programs aim to explore the grounds, principles and philosophical presumptions of social sciences.
A seminal thinker in the Continental tradition of philosophy, Martin Heidegger is best known for contributions to phenomenology, hermeneutics, and existentialism.
Several of his books such as Being and Time, ‘The Question Concerning Technology’ and 'The Origin of the Work of Art' as well as several others on his ideas and work have already been translated into Persian.
