IBNA- The Persian translation of ‘The Jena System, 1804-5: Logic and Metaphysics’, a book by prominent German philosopher Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel will be reviewed in Tehran on Tuesday.
According to IBNA correspondent, the book has been translated into Persian by Seyyed Hossein Sajjadi who will attend the book review session accompanied by experts Maysam Khosh-Sefid and Mohammad-Mahdi Ardebili.
As he worked on the Jena system, Hegel's understanding of the nature of logic and its connection with metaphysics underwent changes crucial to his later system. As a result, logic acquired a new and expanded significance for him.
‘The Jena System, 1804-5: Logic and Metaphysics’ is thus the key to an understanding of the works of Hegel's maturity, and to their relation to the major works of Schelling and Fichte that preceded them.
The session is from this series of weekly programs of the Cultural Center of Tehran’s Book City which is a scheduled for 4:30 p.m.
