‎2nd Iran’s Translation World Award to be held

IBNA- The 2nd edition of Iran’s Translation World Award which will offer two new ‎sections of novel, adults fiction and non-English translation will be held. ‎
According to IBNA correspondent, Iran’s Translation World Award aims to develop the network of international translators who are engaged in translating Persian works into other languages.

The event is held by The Center of Iranian Translators Unions, Iran’s Book House Institute, and the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, the organizer of the Grant Plan which is aimed to support the translation of Persian books into other languages.

In the first edition of the award, Persian works of literature for children and young adults which were translated in 2013 to 2018 the judgments were based on four criteria of translation, production, distribution, and feedback. The American Caroline Croskery won the award of the first edition.
