Iranian author, book promoter introduced for Astrid Lindgren Award

IBNA- Iranian writer Mohammad-Reza Shams and book promoter Mahdi Hajvani ‎introduced by Iran’s Association of Children and Young Adults Writers to run for The ‎Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award 2020.‎
According to IBNA correspondent, the nominees were introduced at a meeting held on Monday, September 2, which was attended by the secretary of Iran’s Association of Children and Young Adults Writers Ja’far Touzandehjani as well as several writers and translators.

The Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award (Litteraturpriset till Astrid Lindgrens mine in Swedish) is an international children’s literary award which worth five million Swedish Krona, making it the richest award in children's literature and one of the richest literary prizes in the world. The Swedish award aims to promote children’s and young adults literature all across the world.
