Meeting on Sana'i Ghaznavi to be held by Eco

IBNA- ECO Cultural Institute’s office in Tehran will hold the meeting “The Realm of Art & the Position of Hakim Sana'i Ghznavi” on Wednesday, September 18.
According to IBNA correspondent, an Iranian expert, Nader Karimian Sardashti (PhD) will deliver a lecture at the event.
Hakim Abul-Majd Sana'i Ghaznavi
was a Persian poet from Ghazni who lived there between the 11th century and the 12th century in ancient Iran what is now Afghanistan. He passed away between 1131 and 1141.
He wrote mystical verse extensively, of which ‘The Walled Garden of Truth’ or ‘The Hadiqat al-Haqiqa’ is his master work and the first Persian mystical epic of Sufism. Dedicated to Bahram Shah, the work expresses the poet's ideas on God, love, philosophy and reason.
The Economic Cooperation Organization
or ECO is an Asian political and economic intergovernmental organization which was founded in 1985 in Tehran by the leaders of Iran, Pakistan, and Turkey. It provides a platform to discuss ways to improve development and promote trade and investment opportunities.
