ICIDCY, China Peace Publishing ink MoU

IBNA- Iran’s Center for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults (ICIDCY) signed a memorandum of understanding with China Peace Publishing House in the 32nd Tehran International Book Fair.

correspondent, Director of Public and International Relations Department of Iran's Center for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults Hamed Rahnama and Director of China Peace Publishing House Lin Yun signed this agreement.
Based on the agreement the two entities will cooperate more actively in the field of selling and purchasing book copyright as well as other activities related to the publication.
At the signing ceremony, Rahnama said: “ICIDCYA is one of the pioneers of buying international copyrights in Iran. By now, we have purchased the copyrights of over 200 titles of books from foreign publishers and have sold over 400 titles to them.
He also introduced various departments of ICIDCYA and provided a report on the activities and programs carried out by the center.
Referring to the participation of Iran at Beijing International book fair 2016, Rahnama expressed his hope that this edition of Tehran international book fair will lead to more cultural interaction between the two countries as well.
As the guest of honor of the 32nd Tehran International Book Fair, China has brought a delegation of 200 members among them 100 authors, illustrators and publishers representing the active print industry of that country.
