‎200 Iranian children books on display in Japan

IBNA- An exhibition titled “The Land of Poetry and Legends” is displaying 200 Iranian ‎books for children at Japan’s International Library of Children’s Literature in Tokyo.‎
According to IBNA correspondent, the exhibition kicked off on March 5 and will wrap-up today. Among these Iranian books, 20 works have been published by Iran’s Center for Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults (ICIDCY).

Being held on the occasion of 90th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Iran and Japan, the event features three sections “The Land of Poetry and Legends”, “Children’s Books in Iran” and “Writers and Illustrators of Children Books in Iran”.

A brochure has also been provided for the event which briefly accounts for Iranian geography, masterpieces of Persian literature including ‘Shahnameh’ by Ferdowsi as well as stories based on the poems of Mowlana Rumi. Moreover, the history of activities by ICIDCY has been contained.
