Iranian professor receives Wiley’s Achievement Certificate

IBNA- A professor of Semnan University, Department of Electronics Engineering, Nima ‎Amjadi has received the Certificate of Achievement awarded by Wiley Publishing. ‎

According to IBNA correspondent, deputy of research and technology at the University of Semnan Saifollah Sa’d al-Din said that the 36-year-old Nima Amjadi, the youngest of full professor of this university and Iran had already received the same award in 2017.

He received the award “for outstanding performance as the Editorial Board Member of the International Transactions on Electrical Engineering Systems as well as reviewing and making recommendations for manuscripts in a timely and effective fashion in 2018.”

Amjadi received the B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 1992, 1994, and 1997, respectively.

He is also a Consultant with the National Dispatching Department of Iran. His research interests include security assessment of power systems, reliability of power networks, load and price forecasting, and artificial intelligence and its applications to the problems of power systems.
